Overview

Designing for decision clarity in enterprise commerce
Motorola Solutions needed a smarter way for enterprise buyers to identify the right communication systems—without technical overload. I co-led the UX design of a guided tool that simplifies complex product decisions into an intuitive, step-by-step flow. The experience tailors radio and accessory recommendations to each organization’s role needs, size, and environment—helping buyers feel confident from the first click.

process

Define the Problem
Sales and research teams shared a common issue: enterprise buyers struggled to know which radios or bundles fit their unique environments. We mapped that journey to uncover where decision fatigue began and how to replace it with guided clarity

01

Simplify the Path
I designed a modular, questionnaire-style flow that asked only the most relevant questions—industry, use case, and scale. Each step progressively narrowed options, surfacing only what mattered, and visually reflected progress to keep users oriented.

02

 Design the Experience
The interface blends Motorola’s bold blue branding with a clean, data-driven layout. I focused on clarity and hierarchy—large, legible labels, progressive disclosure, and mobile responsiveness—to support enterprise users across contexts.

03

Collaborate & Iterate
Working closely with product and engineering, I documented UI logic, state transitions, and error scenarios to ensure build accuracy. Our iterative design reviews validated each flow and interaction against real sales scenarios.

The Solution Finder transformed a once-technical product search into an approachable experience.

Buyers now navigate product choices with ease and confidence, and internal teams report smoother conversions and fewer support requests during the sales process.

The pilot feedback validated the design’s intent — simplicity that feels powerful
